Where Our Story Begins

Our journey began with a simple realization: everyone has their own way of finding comfort and grounding.

Through my experience working with children on the spectrum, I began noticing the different ways they used sensory experiences to regulate, feel comfortable, and navigate moments of overwhelm. Then I started noticing something in myself. I realized I had my own ways of stimming too—especially while talking on the phone. It made me look at sensory regulation differently and recognize something bigger: stimming isn’t exclusive to neurodivergent people. We all have ways of soothing ourselves, focusing, releasing energy, and grounding. Then I noticed it with my son. When he became overstimulated or emotionally uncomfortable, he would seek out something to smell, like lotion. It was his own way of creating a moment of calm—his version of taking a breath. That moment stayed with me. I began creating bracelets that could provide a discreet sensory experience through scent—something beautiful, wearable, and accessible for anyone who finds comfort in sensory stimulation. And that’s where our story began: with the understanding that comfort looks different for everyone, and sometimes, the smallest sensory experience can help bring us back to ourselves.
